I made notes on a piece of paper collection ideas for the trailer. It includes any props I would need, some of the script and the music that I was considering to use.

Storyboard
I have started a storyboard to which I will follow in able to film the trailer. This includes the opening scenes and how it will play out once finished. It also gives me a direction on what camera angles to get. This is an example of the start.

Brief 2
Brief 2
For style models, I have been looking at movie trailers that can be considered simple but more focused on the editing. I have been looking for locations that I could recreate in the movie trailers. I hope to make an action trailer based in a dystopian world.
In this trailer, the transitions are very jumpy and snappy. I hope to do this with mine because it creates suspense and adds action. I plan to create a sort of physiological thriller where these transitions can create that sort of mood. However, the filter used on the trailer may be too bright but the main colours used for light will counteract with the genre.
In this trailer, I hope to use similar shots that give landscape views by tracking. The sound used is also something I would like to use. With the addition of the actual action trailer music, it has points where all music is gone and is left with just a voice over. It then changes into a known song with lyrics for points that does not have words said and then drowns out when the words come into play. Nearer to the end of the trailer, the shots become slow motioned and has close ups on certain parts to show the emotion of the actor. One shot shows water dripping from his face that is in high definition and shows the reflection.
In this trailer, the text used on screen is something I would like to recreate. It flows with the music at intense parts. The sentences are only 1-4 words long. This includes the main title at the end and the information needed to get more information and the date of the movie.
This would be the music I would hope to use for the trailer.
Music
I have chosen a handful of songs that I could possibly use. I have chosen a few as I will be editing them down into smaller audio clips to create different effects for different scenes. I have also found that some songs have sound effects that I will edit out and use for my trailer as they would be fitting.
However, these two compositions would be the best to use. I hope to use them together using these clips of the song.

Movie trailer filming plans
For filming my movie trailer, I have decided on different locations to where I will film. I will need to do this at different times of the day and on separate days. I have chosen to film in a forest where the beginning of the trailer will be set. I have chosen Bidston hill as a location because it is a large plot of land with only trees.
Another location I have chosen to film in is a warehouse. This will be recreated to look like a prison cell. I am using a warehouse that houses a bus company to film as it is a large area and also has trees and fields outside the building to where I can film.
I will be using a bathroom as a location as I will be filming a slow motion scene where water is being splashed onto the face.
For costume, I will be needing 3 outfits for the main character. I have chosen an old, oversized white dress that I will paint to create an effect of blood and dirt. A fancy looking dress will also be needed so I have chosen a flowing blue dress. The last costume will be an all black clothing that will include a soldier look to it.
For props, I have a list of things I will be needing and for what scene;
Forest scene
* Two hand held torches
* Fancy looking dress
* All black outfit
* Black gloves
Bathroom scene
* White dirt dress
Warehouse prison scene
* Two torches with orange filter
Other locations will be added once location has been decided.

Movie trailer edit plans.
With deciding on the movie tailer brief, I have chosen to make an action/ physiological thriller trailer to use a variety of effects and programmes on editing the video. The video will be mainly edited in imovie on the mac PC.
As for use of effects, I have chosen to practice on a programme called 'Blender' to recreate non- existing objects by modelling a shape and using it as a live object on the video. This will be used in the trailer to give it the action/ dystopian vibe that would be needed.
For certain scenes in my trailer I hope to use slow motion to show a fight scene to give effect and to give the music more of an effect by having actions along with certain beats.
