Brief 2

Brief 2

For style models, I have been looking at movie trailers that can be considered simple but more focused on the editing. I have been looking for locations that I could recreate in the movie trailers. I hope to make an action trailer based in a dystopian world.

In this trailer, the transitions are very jumpy and snappy. I hope to do this with mine because it creates suspense and adds action. I plan to create a sort of physiological thriller where these transitions can create that sort of mood. However, the filter used on the trailer may be too bright but the main colours used for light will counteract with the genre.

In this trailer, I hope to use similar shots that give landscape views by tracking. The sound used is also something I would like to use. With the addition of the actual action trailer music, it has points where all music is gone and is left with just a voice over. It then changes into a known song with lyrics for points that does not have words said and then drowns out when the words come into play. Nearer to the end of the trailer, the shots become slow motioned and has close ups on certain parts to show the emotion of the actor. One shot shows water dripping from his face that is in high definition and shows the reflection.

In this trailer, the text used on screen is something I would like to recreate. It flows with the music at intense parts. The sentences are only 1-4 words long. This includes the main title at the end and the information needed to get more information and the date of the movie.

This would be the music I would hope to use for the trailer.
